Can you tell me about this napkin holder? It is stamped Rockford Quadruple Silver P Co #196. Although I have researched it, I cannot find any information about it.

Hi Judy,
You have an early 1900's quadruple silver plated Figural Stag napkin ring made by the Rockford Silver Co. The reason you are having difficulty researching the item, is in the photo it appears that the figure is a cow. In actuality, the napkin ring depicts a stag, however with yours, the antlers have been broken off and you now have what appears to be a cow napkin ring. In excellent condition, a Napkin Ring such as this would sell for between $500 - $750 at auction. In fair condition and with the antlers broken off however, $75 - $150 would be more realistic. Personally, I like the cow napkin ring and think it would be a really fun addition to any dinner table. At the very least it's a great conversation piece!
